Friday Morning Prayer
Join us, an assembly of young and not so young, professionals, artisans, laborers, and students, to pray and to worship our wonderful Savior. We start 6:00am in the Conference Room (formerly known as the Library). Following readings from the Scriptures, we pray for our church and for each other, our community, and our world. Men will depart as necessary for work or school. We adjourn promptly at 7:00am and many head to breakfast at Michael’s, where we continue our fellowship, enjoying great conversations and food. Ask about our breakfast special for first-timers!
Come join us as together we lift prayers to Jesus, following the example of those in the ancient church who “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” (Acts 2)
Men’s Prayer & Bible Study
Join with other men on Saturday mornings from 6:30am to 8:10am (coffee provided) for Bible study, prayer and worship in the Conference Room (formerly known as the Library). We study the Bible to move forward in the knowledge of and obedience to God. We pray to encourage each other so we can more effectively carry out the good works for which we were made. We worship to glorify God for all he has done. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” (Colossians 3:16)
After the study you can join a break-out group from 8:15am to 9:00am for sharing and prayer. When we’re living in healthy fellowship, we rely on one another and help one another. “…And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another.” (Hebrews 10:24)
Men’s Retreat
Our 2024 Men’s Retreat is November 15-17, at Camp Conquest in Lancaster County, PA! See more information on the Men’s Retreat page.
Our annual Men’s Retreat occurs in Autumn. Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday morning, men gather together to pray, play, learn, eat, and fellowship. Each year has a new theme to challenge men, or a topic that is a challenge to men is shared and studied. We study God’s Word for instruction and wisdom. The weekend is highlighted with presenters, focus groups, worship time, and because we are men; food, sports, hikes, board games, and other activities!
